2010–11 Boston Celtics season : ウィキペディア英語版 | 2010–11 Boston Celtics season
The 2010–11 Boston Celtics season was the 65th season of the Boston Celtics in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The off-season saw the acquisition of Shaquille O'Neal. With Kendrick Perkins, who was working his way back from a torn ACL, he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder mid-season, the Celtics still managed a 56-26 record and enter the playoffs as the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference. After sweeping the Carmelo Anthony-led New York Knicks in four straight first-round games, the Celtics' season ended as they were ousted by the Miami Heat, led by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh in five Eastern Conference Semifinal games. Miami would go on to the NBA Finals, but were unable to stop the Dallas Mavericks in six games. After an injury-riddled season with the Celtics, Shaquille O'Neal announced his retirement during the lockout after 20 seasons in the NBA. The Big Four of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo and coach Rivers represented the Eastern Conference in the 2011 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles. ==Key dates==
